Adventure Pending is a UK-focused outdoor blog dedicated to sharing the best hiking, backpacking and camping gear designed for the Wild Isles.

Founded in 2020, Adventure Pending started out as a side project. The site’s primary function was to use the site as a learning tool – to develop SEO content writing skills and to learn the nooks and crannies of the SERPs.

Now, with more than 2 years of weekends and late nights spent building a comprehensive blog from scratch, AP has now amassed more than 256k users from more than 8.4m impressions from Google Search alone.

The content strategy of the site was formed around two main areas of the outdoor industry – hiking and backpacking. Across our pages, you’ll find carefully planned how-to guides, product reviews, group tests and gear guides – all catering to a UK audience.

We schedule multiple (2-3) posts per week, with the primary function of providing value to our audience in both strong and weak SERP areas. High-quality, well-researched and carefully planned content is the secret to our success. Each piece serves a specific purpose, ultimately designed to propel our pages to the top of the SERPs.
